Lindsay & Sune

Photobucket

My dear friends Sune and Lindsay were married last weekend in Tilden Park in the hills above Berkeley. Their first date began last winter when, having known each other from working one season at a summer camp in Colorado, they decided to meet up in southeast Asia for some good old exotic-locale travel. They soon realized that, with Sune having spent a year and a half in Antarctica and Lindsay having handled dogs for the Iditarod, they weren't so fit for the hotter climes. So they headed north. Continuing up through China they crossed Russia on the Trans-Siberian railway. This pretty much wins my vote for perfect first date and alludes to the tremendous future they have before them as partners. A glorious weekend was had by all (scroll down to the next post to see images from our post-wedding celebration in the Yosemite Valley).

And, for the first time, I'm going to include a slide show of their wedding day in this post. You'll find that at the bottom.

  1. Sune is so loud and proud as a bearded man. It's really impressive to me. And that looked like Ben Doerr trying to live up to his example in one photo, although I may have just imagined that.
