Today was another wonderfully long day.

I filed another 20 images with Reuters, but I'm only gonna post a few of those here. Instead, I'm going to use this space to share the images that don't have as much traditional journalistic value, but are meaningful to me because I feel (or hope at least) that they express some of the character and the energy that surrounds the sport of dog mushing.

I'm also going to post more than I usually do because I took so many dang images today--its only right. Or because this is my blog and I can do what I want to.

And then I'm going to go to bed.
