Back in the USA!
Alex and Nate were great. I'd never met them before, but they'd seen some of the wedding work I'd done for a friend of Alex's in Berkeley a couple years ago and hired me for their Malibu, California wedding in March. I was literally hanging out under a full moon in the desert in southern Jordan one night eating grilled lamb and veggies and, some 36-48 hours later was sitting in the dining hall of my Thousand Oakes hotel trying to decide between bagels or cereal.
That day before the wedding I met with Nate and Alex to do a pre-wedding portrait shoot in a park during which time they shared some personal promises (vows) with each other. It was a great opportunity to get to know them before their wedding ceremony. Here is a portfolio of imagery from that day's shoot.
