Kate and Jimmy sure picked it! We had beautiful evening light to shoot in along Turnagain Arm at Bird Point and somewhere near Beluga. It's that really nice time of year where down low it's easy to get around for lack of snow, but there's still a nice snow-pack up high. All of this illuminated under some quality spring evening light, the sun edging further and further north along the horizon each day makes for a nice visual. I love the rich quality of summer light!
I enjoyed getting to know Kate and Jimmy a bit better after having met them a few times over the years through friends. The two of them are clearly way in love--almost as much as they love their dogs, Suzie and French Fry. I believe it was French Fry's idea to use the save-the-dates signs in one of the photos.
