Emily & Nate wedding!

These two are wonderful. I loved their quiet sincerity throughout the wedding day. They chose to get married in my favorite indoor ceremony venue--Our Lady of the Snows--a quiet, log cabin chapel on the edge of our northern rain forest (and close to the Alyeska Resort) in Girdwood. There's always great natural light to work with there!

After portraits around Girdwood we raced back to Anchorage for their reception at the top of one of the hotel Captain Cook's towers. A highlight from the reception, I thought, was the live performance of some of Emily and Nate's quite talented musician friends. The other was the rowdy "table 9" and that one guy who managed to get photographed with just about every lady in the house.
