Lydia and Jeremy flew to Lydia's hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan from San Francisco to get married among local friends and family.
Lydia's been a dear friend since college and so I was so excited to be asked to photograph what turned into an absolutely epic wedding weekend. She is literally the smiliest person I know and together with Jeremy the two of them make quite the handsome couple! Add to that a gorgeous, humid southwest Michigan day, a bridal party that was anything but shy, and a group of wildly expressive friends and family in full party mode and you have the recipe for a beautiful wedding celebration.
I could say a whole lot more about all of my highlights from the day (like watching Lydia's entire--also smiley--family on the dance floor singing along to "Home") and the love that we were all feeling that day, but rather than getting wordy, I'm going to let the photographs do the talking.
Following are many of my favorite single images from that day--a lot more than I usually post, but it was a big, beautiful day! To see a whole round of the "best of" scroll down to the bottom of this post and click on the slide show--then turn up your volume and take a few minutes to witness the love!

Gorgeous photos! Thanks Nathaniel for capturing the beauty and joy of our family's very special day. These memories are now and forever enhanced by the vivid details of your creative style. Loved the honesty, the reality, and the Michigan bugs. You even caught the bride in bug spray, one of my personal favorites. Never stop shooting.
