I'm fortunate to have been the hired photographer for Rachel and Chris' wedding celebration in Talkeetna earlier in the month. Everything a photographer could hope for was present: a sweet couple, a beautiful, outdoor ceremony followed by butter and honey evening reception light, and a raging dance floor full of good humor and light heartedness. Amen.
I took a mental picture during the reception. I want to remember the fireweed, the substance of that late evening light, the music carrying from the tent, humming down the river valley. I'd like to think about it sometime in the darkness of late January.
As usual, the single images posted here are my own personal favorites moments of the day. For a more thorough visual story of Rachel and Chris' wedding day (including ceremony photos!), scroll down to the slide show at the bottom. Dang, that's a very nice set of images.. Really inspiring work Natty
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brett. Hope you've had a great season!
ReplyDeleteSome artists stand apart. David Doublet defines excellence in aquatic photography, Ansel Adams set the standard in panoramic images. Nathaniel Wilder stands among the greats in capturing people at their best. Anticipating the moment and angle with such skill is truly a mastery of the art form. Image crafting such as this make me want to go dust off my old Minolta and go for a walk. http://www.flickr.com/photos/36867901@N04/5992877901/
